This year it is the 50th year of Independence for both Jamaica and Trinidad & Tobago. There are many events planned to take place worldwide and this is one I have planned for the good people of Nottingham!

On Saturday 11th August Cultural Vibrations will be live and direct at Nottingham Contemporary Cafe bar for an enjoyable night of Spoken word : Live music : DJ : Table top sales : Caribbean Food.

The theme of the night is 'Out of many, one people'.

2nd event will take place at The Maze on Friday 31st August. 'Bob Marley Legacy night' featuring Nottingham musicians performing covers of Bob's greatest hits, DJ will be playing a mixture of Calypso and Roots Reggae. £3.
