KEITH EVAN - AMBASSADORS
Keith Evan has played a major role in the deep house community throughout the US dating back to the early 90’s. Originally from Los Angeles, California, the city of angels served as a breeding ground for Keith in his earlier years exploring the underground house sub culture in the presence of artists such as Doc Martin and Marque Wyatt. Most notably the past 12 years where he lived in Las Vegas and helped pioneer the deep house movement along side partner Carlos Sanchez in which those two formed the House Society Crew.
Under the House Society umbrella they created the first solely deep house event in Las Vegas back in April 2001 titled “Soundbar”. Their event served as a platform over the past 11+ years to break a plethora of dj’s/artists within their genre and beyond into the Las Vegas arena including Osunlade, Timmy Regisford, Kerri Chandler, and Kenny “Dope” Gonzales to name a few.
Currently Keith has continued his work of art through an arrangement of brands including “Taste , resident and creator of the invite only supper gathering in downtown Las Vegas, “Ambassadors” with partner Rob Paine{Worship Records, Philliy}, and “Mi Casa Es Su Casa”{www.micasaholiday.com} with partner and founder Julius the Mad Thinker.
Keith is presently touring for the Mi Casa Es Su Casa Holiday where each year begins in Miami{WMC} and continues throughout the seasons with the finale held in Playa el Carmen, MX every October.
Some credits to be noted, Keith was voted “Best Resident DJ In Las Vegas in 2009” by the Las Vegas Weekly Magazine. Keith also completed a U.S. and French Tour for his CD release on Kinkysweet’ Habitat Collection titled “Twilight”. This installment was released worldwide and received an overwhelming response.
This grounded individual before you not only shows great passion, knowledge, and patience, but incredible resilience to push house music to a community desperately in need. He takes pride in his knack to develop brands and create an music environment for everyone to enjoy. His pioneering in the Las Vegas arena has taken notice around the globe. “ I feel like we as a community finally scraped the surface of what we can do together. Personally speaking, I feel the same about where I am going. All of these dedicated years have brought me to this point. I am so excited about the future for Las Vegas and for the future of my career. It is about the music first and it will always be about the music first. Those values I have learned and my faith in God are the primary reasons for my success.”
Keith’s main influences stem from artists with equal values. He has learned from some of the most influential house artists of our time. DJ’s such as Doc Martin, Osunlade, Mark Farina, Garth, Marques Wyatt, and Miguel Migs has paved way for him within his own personal experiences. Now he only wants to carry on that same idea with music and fulfill his roll as an ambassador to deep music.
