Produced as part of the FRIGID NYC 2012 Festival (http://frigidnewyork.info/)

Through an original collaboration of words, music, and dance, ‘Til Love Do Us Part tells two stories at once. Based on a true story, the first shows a glimpse into the seventy-year relationship of two grief-struck souls, John and Virginia Walker. Lost in their own lonely worlds, in an unlikely circumstance, they connect at an unseen graveyard. This connection, which grows to be anything but simple, becomes the heart of the piece. The second is the story of a mysterious, but naïve, curious, and confused young girl, left alone in the darkness, forced to watch the relationship of John and Virginia deepen into the ground. Through the eyes of this young girl, John and Virginia become dressed in complete traditional wedding attire. The play begins. And their story comes alive. The line between love and hate is not so easily discovered. In this world, the dark little moments of intimacy are both what make life worthwhile and what takes life away.
