Reclaiming Our Choices, The YP Foundation Turns 10!

On Sunday, 29th July, 2012, as part of the ’10 Years in 10 Days’ Festival, The YP Foundation, along with eleven partner organisations, is bringing together 400 young people to address issues of gender, sexuality and public safety; and to celebrate diverse identities within the city and the country. Called the ‘Reclaiming Our Choices’ Campaign, the event will be a one-day festival held across nine spaces in Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi.

Highlights include:
Condom art competitions, a book reading with filmmaker Rahul Roy, Screening of ‘Mera Apna Sheher’ with Sameera Jain, Self Defence workshop with KravMaga India, workshop on sexuality and disability with CREA and Anita Ghai, performances by Delhi Drum Circle and Ekam Satyam, poetry readings, Shashank Tyagi’s exhibition on Queer Identities, multiple workshops on public safety with Jagori, TARSHI’s all-day booth on sexuality and so much more!

All events are open for all above the age of 15years and no registration fee or ticket required to attend/participate in any of them.
