Student Youth Right campaign unleashed by AISA and RYA on May 1, 2012 attempts to engage the student-youth community on the pertinent question of massive corruption on one hand and lack of education and dignified employment opportunities on the other. The movement attempts to expose prevailing corporate-govt nexus as the root cause underlying corruption and demands shift in policy environment for bringing Right to Education and Right to Dignified Employment for all at the center of student-Youth political agenda. It brings out the view that corporate take over of education through privatization and commercialization of education is detrimental to interests of student community. How dignified employment opportunities has been denied through contractualization of labor in prevailing policy regime resulting in insecurity of job, low pay and unemployment at large among youth is been raised through the movement. The campaign draws its strength by creating awareness among Student-Youth community about their legitimate rights through engaging them and in the process solicit their support for making effective political intervention in debates on these significant questions faced by them.
The 100 day nation wide campaign will culminate in form of thousands of students participating in 'March to Parliament' on 9th August, 2012.
