**WHAT IS THE WALL STREET MASH?**

__________________________________________________________Electro swing is “the sounds and styles of the 1920s and 30s, turned on their head and smuggled into the 21st century.”

Already massive in mainland Europe and slowly working its infectious fun around the UK, electro swing takes the irresistible toe-tapping sounds of the 20s and 30s, sticks them in a new outfit and kicks them out into modern day club culture where ‘prohibition’ has become ‘NOhibition.’

And now it’s Manchester’s turn...

... Think ‘Great Gatsby’ with a modern twist, then add some cheap drinks, a big bass and some vintage dancemoves. ___________________________________________________________

Swing for the rave generation and rave for the swing generation. With backgrounds of Drum and Bass, Hip-Hop, Funk, Electro and Breaks and a passion for vintage music, scantily clad ladies and dapper décolletage comes a duet DJ show which brings you back to the 30's with big bad dutty basslines thrown in to satisfy all those insatiable needs.

Sound Assembly presents a sideshow synthetic sensation... Hot from sell-out performances in London’s club land and armed with the very best in shoulder shaking, body breaking, synthetic swing grooves, Sound Assembly are coming to Manchester to get you firmly onto the dancefloor.

The Lancashire three-piece and their unique approach to the electro swing sound has seen them make waves in the hottest new scene to break across the UK for some time. Sound Assembly bring you a fresh live mix of sultry vintage sounds, a truck load of attitude and a good dose of downright dirty dance-floor beats.

- TRIP FOR BISCUITS -

Trip for Biscuits are a new Electro Swing trio who have been stirring up audiences across the UK and Europe with exciting audio/visual shows, infused with live walkabout sax. TFB have performed at many venues including White Mink (London, UK), Hot Club (Wiesbaden, DE) and Monza (Frankfurt, DE).

In addition Trip for Biscuits are producing their own tracks which will be unveiled in March 2012.

The trio is made up of Jamko, Das Motz and Maxophone, who are the promoters pushing the scene in the East Midlands, hosting The Jitterbug on the first Friday of every month in Nottingham
