Talib Kweli has been a king of New York hip-hop who has an expansive international audience for over fifteen years. Lowkey is a musician and political activist who has been releasing music independently for almost a decade. From the beginning of his career with the release of three mixtapes Key To The Game 1-3 and his debut album Dear Listener, Lowkey is considered as “One of the best lyricists in the Western Hemisphere” by poet Benjamin Zephaniah.

Having worked with the likes of M1 from the legendary hip hop duo Dead Prez, Immortal Technique and highly acclaimed production outfit K Salaam and Beatnick on his latest album Soundtrack To The Struggle, that peaked at #33 in the UK midweek UK Album charts, #1 on the iTunes Hip Hop chart and #7 on the iTunes Album chart. Lowkeys career has continued to go from strength to strength touring in countries all over the world including Lebanon, Australia, Palestine, Greece, Venezuela, the United States, Italy and many more.

Mic has been performing tirelessly all over THE U.K inc. opening for hip-hop legends The Game, J.Cole, Wretch 32, Devlin, Lowkey, and many others. This year has also seen Mic collaborating with acts across the whole spectrum of popular music from Hard-Fi, Natty & Cher Lloyd to Eminem signings Royce da 5’9 and Joell Ortiz. With over 2 million Youtube hits, Mic Righteous' growing online presence was noticed by top U.K producer Naughty Boy and in April 2011 Mic securred a publishing deal with Naughty Words/Sony ATV.
