Santiago Street Machine are a boundary pushing electro/dance/indie-pop band from Manchester, mixing grimey bass lines, huge beats, electro loops, rich synths and monster hooks.

Last year the band enjoyed great airplay support from John Kennedy and Mary Ann Hobbs (Xfm) and BBC Manchester Introducing whilst Xfm playlisted the debut single 'Noisemaker' (video link). The band also finished the year at number six in Amazing Radio's chart of 2011, with 'Sinking Stone' having spent three weeks at number one in their chart.

Santiago Street Machine made their festival debut on the main stage at Manchester Pride in August, shared bills with Hot Chip and Metronomy and sold out shows at the likes of Manchester Academy 3 and Queen of Hoxton during 2011.
