THREE COMPANIES! THREE NIGHTS! SIX SHORT PLAYS!

Three of Manchester’s most diverse fringe theatre companies are coming together for the first time to present a brand new fringe event called Queer as Fringe.

Queer as Fringe is a night of unforgettable gay theatre, each company will present two fifteen minute plays ranging from comedy to drama, the plays are written by some of Manchester’s most successful gay fringe writers.

The show runs from March 22nd to 24th at Three Minute Theatre inside Afflecks Palace.

Tickets are on sale Jan 6th Via Quaytickets but friends, family and fans of any of the three theatre companies can contact them direct to reserve tickets (limited amount available so get in touch quickly)

Taking part are.....

Vertigo Theatre Productions (Die, Mommie, Die, Rage, M, Dog Sees God and award nominated for OUT). The 2 plays presented by Vertigo are ‘Numb’ a new drama written by Craig Hepworth and starring Dale Vicker and Richard Allen, and ‘Faded Ink’ written by Adele Stanhope.

Dream Avenue Productions (Dream On – Tour and the hit critically acclaimed play Celluloid). The 2 plays presented by Dream Avenue are a powerful drama called Heart Shaped Craving written by Lloyd Eyre Morgan, and The Dark Side of the Rainbow also written by Morgan

Pink Triangle Theatre (Show One, performed around the whole country which sees them speaking out against homophobia, 'Dear Alan', short film). The 2 plays presented by the company will be an abridged version of the highly innovative show ‘Show One’ and a brand new science fiction play called 'Going Down'

So please come and support this unique event, unique as it brings together 3 fringe companies but also it shows the best of the Manchester gay fringe writers in one diverse night.
