Ruby Ann Patterson
Our very own,
After touring round the country the last year and gigs in London this year Ruby ann will play a few numbers in her home town of Chorlton before returning to her busy schedule.
Manchester-based singer songwriter dealing in reflective wisdom infused with natural optimism and unselfconscious emotion. Hers is a voice defying description. Powerfully soft; gentle yet fervent, driving delicate melodies with an intensity and complexity belying her youth. Ruby Ann’s soulful vocals are matched by her haunting talents on piano and guitar.
Big things for Ruby Ann this year, Don't miss her.

Sammi Elston
Big city dreams, small town ambition. The same passion that has fuelled lyricists for decades certainly drives the pen of Sammi Elston, yet she is able to craft songs that simultaneously evoke feelings of starry eyed adolescence and the hopes and fears that so many can relate to, whilst escaping the clichéd pitfalls so many cannot seem to write around.
Sammi has such an arsenal of songs to draw from be it the immediate, pop punchy "Universe" or the sweeping sound-scapes of "Saudade", Elston writes and sings from the heart.

Kat Mullen is only just at the beginning of her career as both her music and performances show great perfection and individuality of that normally found in much more experienced artists. Of the snippets of performances that are available online, she clearly has a very idiosyncratic style that would no doubt draw comparisons with artists as diverse as Feist, Adele, Laura Marling and Tracey Chapman, for starters.

Connor Molloy
Connor started writing lyrics and then performing them at the age of 9 whilst on a family holiday in Australia. The early hits included 'running through my pockets' and 'nobody knows' sung with a squeaky and obliviously (yet contentedly) tuneless voice, and accompanied by a band of trumpet playing cousins.
He has since been writing songs that tell a story, sometimes with a cheeky twist. His music appears to loose itself somewhere amongst the categories of Acousticky/Folky/Bluesy/Storytelling...
Last year Connor gigged at a few different venues in London, most notably the Roundhouse and the Bedford in Balham.
He says, I'm always writing and love to perform, If I can make you smile, them I'm satisfied.
