Riot Jazz have recently played at the Big Chill, Bestival, Parklife, Kendal Calling and Soundwave, Croatia. The Riot Jazz Brass Band navigate a minefield of original peace-lovin’ aggro jazz, hip-hop samples, funked-up favourites and re-interpreted dubstep, drum'n'bass and dancefloor bangers that never fail to send limbs flying!

Our chosen charity this year is Francis House Children’s Hospice – a charity that provides care for children and young adults with life threatening conditions. They also provide support and friendship for the whole family. All of their care is offered in a comfortable home from home environment. Families go to the hospice for periods of rest and recuperation along with treatment of distressing symptoms, end of life care and support. For every hour the hospice needs £222 just to stand still – to pay for the fabric of the building, heating, lighting and so on, as well as paying for the care we provide such as nursing, physiotherapy and a whole range of specialist medical care.

To help support Francis House, we'll be holding a raffle on the night. Confirmed prizes are:

Tickets are guaranteed to be sell out.

Dinner Tickets - £50 | £45 (MedSoc Card) - 3 Courses & Half Bottle Wine

After-Dinner Tickets - £30 | £25 (MedSoc Card) (from 9pm)

Both tickets include a drinks reception and access to all the night's entertainment.

Tickets will be limited to one non-medic guest for the Dinner.

There will be no limits on bringing non-medic guests for the After – Dinner.

Guest tickets will have to be purchased. So, as many non-medics you want can pay for the After-Dinner tickets, but only one of them can come/pay for the Dinner.

You may purchase tickets on other people's behalf, but in order to receive a discount you must also have their MedSoc membership cards.
