RNLI Run 2012 - Ryan's challenge.

Throughout 2012 YBS are holding a Charity of the Year campaign in aid of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The campaign is called ‘Come Rain or Shine’ and will be raising money specifically to provide specialist training to help turn brave men and women volunteers into life-savers.

Our campaign launched on Friday 27 January throughout all the Yorkshire group’s branches, agencies and head office departments and will run until the end of the year.

In order to help our fundraising I intend to visit 100 Lifeboat stations throughout mainland England over a 5-day period and I aim to raise over £2500, which is a huge challenge. This will cover approximately 2,564 miles and the estimated cost of fuel would be £500 based on 30 MPG at £1.30p per litre.
