WV COAL FESTIVAL CHILDREN’S ROYALTY PAGEANT

Madison Civic Center, Madison WV
Registration 3pm Pageant starts at 4pm
(All contestants must pre-register; we do NOT take entries at the door)
We would like to invite you to one of the most prestigious events of the year! Our royalty receive many opportunities throughout the year to ride in parades, make TV appearances and meet and greet different local and national entertainers.

Age Groups
Girls: 0-11 Months ~ 12-23 Months ~ 2-3 Years ~ 4-5 Years ~ 6-7 Years ~8-9 Years ~10-12 Years
Boys: 0-23 Months ~ 2-3 Years ~ 4-5 Years ~ 6-up

Attire: Each contestant will need only ONE outfit. For girls attire should be special occasion dress or pageant dress. For boys attire should be suit, tux or nice dress pants and shirt. Each group will first do a group line up. We will then bring each contestant up on stage one at a time. Time limit on stage is 60 seconds (emcee will let you know when your time is up)
We will have a dressing room but space will be limited.

Side Awards: These are ALL included in your entry fee.
We will award a Best Personality, Most Beautiful/Handsome, Prettiest Eyes and Prettiest Smile in each age group.

Photogenic:
We will award a Most Photogenic in each age group. Natural pictures only please! Pictures can not have any retouching done to them. Pictures must be 8 x10 or smaller. NO FRAMES please. One picture is included in your entry fee. You may enter additional pictures the day of the pageant for $5 each.

All contestants will receive awards on stage! No one will ever leave empty handed!

We will crown and Coal Queen/King and Coal Princess/Prince in each age group.
We will also crown the following Supreme titles (contestants with the highest points out of the pageant)
Baby Miss WV Coal Festival 2012
Baby Mister WV Coal Festival 2012
Little Miss WV Coal Festival 2012
Little Mister WV Coal Festival 2012
Jr. Miss WV Coal Festival 2012

We will also award the WV Coal Festival ambassador. This is the contestant who brings the most people with them to view the pageant.

If you receive a crown the day of the pageant please stay after the pageant for parade instructions. Everyone receiving a crown can ride in the Grand Parade on June 23rd.

Door admission the day of the pageant is $5 per person (except contestants)




Entry fee is $50
(Sibling discount is $10 off each additional contestant)
Deadline to enter is June 2nd (entry form and entry fee must be mailed in to address below)

Fundraiser: Each year we hold a fundraiser for our Scholarship fund (for our Miss WV Coal Festival) if you would like to collect signature pages for the scholarship fund along with earn a FREE entry and other gifts (trophies and crowns) please contact use so that we can get you the appropriate paperwork.
