The short-legged, floppy eared gladiators will return to compete in the Ninth Annual Wiener Dog Nationals on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Lucas County Fairgrounds in Maumee, Ohio as part of the Dog Days of September event. First round of races will begin at 11am. Dachshunds with any experience level are encouraged to get their owners to enter them in this year's event for a chance to take home a trophy which are awarded to the top finishers of the Bratwurst and Frankfurter divisions! All proceeds benefit local dachshund rescues.
