From a Yoga stand point food is medicine.

When a client is feeling low energy, going through stress/challenges, or simply wants to improve their overall wellness how can east~west nutrition be successfully incorporated into a yoga therapy session?

This one day immersion course with Terra Gold, L.Ac., D.O.M (FL.), C.Y.T., E-RYT500 will teach you how to support your clients using the most natural medicine…FOOD.

Exploring nutritional concepts, herbs and supplements from Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine and the West, you will learn:

• Effective tools to assess a client’s nutritional type based on three different models: Ayurvedic, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Western blood typing

• What nutritional suggestions you can safely offer a yoga client to support their strength, flexibility (sukha) and balance (samata)

• How to reduce inflammation, optimize pH and balance alkaline/acid levels

• What questions quickly pinpoint which systems are off in your client and how to apply sound supplemental advice to bring them back into metabolic homeostasis

• How the use of things such as kombucha, salt, essential fats and B-vitamins effect the body

• Strategies for creating a personal eating ritual check list that can be used on your own and/or with clients
