All Church Retreat

EVERYONE is invited to an all church retreat, to be held September 8-9 at Pohick Bay Regional Park. Watch this space for information, updates and other things you need to know.

This retreat will allow all at FCC to enjoy times of fun, fellowship and formation. Our retreat time together will include time for worship and formational workshops, as well as group outings to take advantage of Pohick Bay's numerous activities, including disc golf, mini golf, hiking and boat rentals. It will also feature relaxing times of fellowship for us to simply build relationships.

The retreat will begin on Saturday morning, September 8 and conclude the afternoon/evening of Sunday, September 9. Sunday worship services will be held at the Park and at FCC that morning. You are welcome to come to any or all of the retreat, to camp out or come for the day. There are options to suit all at FCC!

LODGING: For those who wish to stay overnight at the park's campground, we have 5 campsites available (3 of our 8 are already spoken for) equipped with electric hookups, a grill, a picnic table and a fire ring. Hot showers and restrooms are available at the park. Cost for a campsite is ~$25/night. If you would like to reserve a campsite, you need to let myself or Josh Carter know as soon as possible.

There are also several rustic cabins available for those who want to stay overnight but do not want to camp. There are only 6 at the park, so those interested in cabins should not delay in calling the reservations line to reserve one. The cost for a cabin is $55 for the night and the phone number to reserve is 703-339-6104.

FOOD: There are grills and picnic areas at each campsite; we will also be reserving a picnic shelter. As the event approaches, we will be coordinating efforts to share the task of preparing food.
