Friday 24.02.12Rock the Belles brings together the hottest female DJs, bands, designers & creatives for a genre-defying celebration of the girls who are making their mark on the music industry…

At this months instalment, the hottest girl group since TLC StooShe are live, Little Boots’ Dj Lauren Verge is on the decks, and Syron who has been touted ID magazine as one of 2012's coolest new female talents graces the stage. Sounds are a freestyle mash-up of everything from House, Dubstep, Electro, Bass & Hiphop through to 80's Funk and 90's Classics.

StooShe are unquestionably The hottest girl group since TLC! Signed to Warner, The Guardian recently pegged the London trio as an 'X Rated En Vogue'. The video for the new single ‘Love Me’ ft. Syron is a 19 year old singer song writer from South London with a lot of attitude. Touted by ID magazine as one of 2012's coolest new female talents and recently blogged by the XX, Syron's call is being heard. With a single due out in May and a song with Rudimental and MNEK currently picking up plaudits from DJs, journalists and bloggers alike it's looking likely to be a big year for Syron. syronofficial.tumblr.com/

Jessica Symonds is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter from South London with a powerful, husky voice and magnetic stage presence, who’s reminiscent of all the great Diva’s rolled into one. She has collaborated with Katy B and is working on her debut EP whilst receiving mainstream radio interest with “Old Days”, which was recently chosen by BBC Radio 1xtra as ‘Homegrown Download Of The Week’

Lauren Verge is part of pop startlet Little Boots' band and is also her DJ partner. She has played at some of the best festivals in the world including Coachella & Glastonbury, also for Fashion brands including Felder Felder, Diesel and Ray Bans and most recently Puma and Selfridges combining her love of all things House and Disco with 70's rock, 80's funk and 90's classics. She is currently an artist manager at 679 records/3 Numbers.

Dj Emily Rawson is the brains behind Rock The Belles, Supa Dupa Fly and Le Scratch. She is one of the most diverse dj's on the scene and had played at everything from events for Mathew Williamson and Vogue to parties for Kanye West and support slots for Big Boi, Tinie Tempah and Eliza Doolittle.
