HELLBOUND REBELS:
HBR was created in a North-West lab when scientists mixed sleaze, despair, and a dash of pure evil. Four people who wont admit their wrongs want to communicate with you through music and you need to listen...
If you want heavy rock that reeks of bribary and corruption then CHOOSE HBR!
BLOOD IN THE RIVER:
Blood In The River are a Manchester based hard-rock band formed in mid-2010.
We started out jamming covers, but swiftly turned to writing and recording our own material, and performing live at venues across the North West. We consider our sound to be more hard rock than metal with influences from Stone Sour, Rage Against The Machine, Rammstein, Killswitch Engage, Five Finger Death Punch, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Deftones, Helmet, Korn and even Pendulum.
Blood In The River started out from a chance meeting at The Salisbury pub in Manchester between founder members Aaron (Vocals) and Glyn (Guitar) after discovering they had similar backgrounds and music influences. Joe (Bass) joined shortly after. We started to write music initially without a drummer but when Dave (Drums) joined a few months later that completed the band.
Thanks in part to the different musical backgrounds of each band member, our sound is very hard to define but that makes the creative process much more fun. We love writing our own material and the buzz from performing live. We follow one simple rule: to only write and play music that we like. This rule went much further into the formation of the band, focusing on keeping music simple and fun to play.
ARLANDRIA:
Arlandria are a vibrant, energetic five-piece rock band based in and around Manchester. Formed at the beginning of 2011 from the ashes of previous bands, the guys and girls of Arlandria have worked tirelessly behind the scenes to perfect a live show that is fun, lively and unexpected.
Having already had radio play of a demo track, plus successful support slot appearances with the likes of Our Innocence Lost, The Hiding Place and Eden Wakes, 2012 is certainly looking promising for this group of friends who are just doing what they love!
TAKING DOWN TITANS:
There are countless bands around in this forever serious scramble to get 'famous'. This insatiable hunger for acceptance. Music is to be written and played without the listener in mind (as backwards as that sounds). If you constantly think about what people want to hear you will wind up sounding like every other band. TDT don't sit here and shout 'WE'RE ORIGINAL' because let's face it, to make music without influence is an impossibility. We do, however, garauntee that we make music out of the sheer love for it. We play our music because we feel the most at home in our practice space and if ever lucky enough, on a stage. If we make people tap their foot or clap, then we've hit an added bonus. When did fringes, Orange amps and Telecasters become the backbone for a successful band? We don't, in any way, shape or form dissaprove of such traits but it's definitely on this generations tick list. Play music because it makes you feel alive. Play music because you want to sing about something you care about. Play music because your brother is standing or sitting (drummer) next to you and there is absolutely nowhere else in the world you would rather sweat out for 4 hours, 3 times a week. Just play for the right reasons.
SOME KIND WEATHER:
Some Kind Weather is the solo side-project of 21 Year old Manchester based Musician/Drummer of band 'Embers' Nathan Howard..a more intimate personal side to his music is ready to be unveiled. Discovering himself as a legitimate artist and becoming more in depth and imaginative, his insightful lyrics and blemished musical style shows a passionate young mind at work.
