Michael Jackson - 3 Years on - London

UPDATE on the plans so far:

We have explained a lot by pictures and posts...about what we want to achieve and our plans. We have focused on the Wembley Way area - where the MJ mural is - pictures we have posted show the area.

we have done a risk assessment which Wembley asked us to do.
they know about what we are trying to do, we have had many emails between us and them, and they have given us the info we need to get everything sorted.

So before people say oh they 'might chuck us out', we have had to ask permission and this is why all these risk assessments and insurance needs to take place, because it is an arranged event, more arranged than the O2 has been in previous years.

We need the insurance, just so it covers our backs and Wembley back. After doing the risk assessment we found that there is little risk
, everything is safe and the likelihood of something happening is so so so slim - millions of people pass this area to get to the stadium, so it is obvious the area is safe, but as i said it is to cover everyone's back - (the world is health and safety mad these days.)

After looking at the area there is some shops and food outlets near by, which is handy for us all. also there is a premier inn RIGHT next to the area - also convenient.

We are now going to type up the risk assessment this week - get it sent back to them - and then its the job of just insurance. The insurance we need might be over £100, and in a perfect world everyone would give like £1 and there would be no problem about the money factor, but we know this isn't the case and hasn't been in previous years. Me and vince are happily able to pay some money towards this, but would hope that some fans would donate...a pound?!?!?!

I will be searching insurance this week - ringing up places to get the best deal we possibly can.

We are looking at starting the event at Wembley late afternoon, as we understand this day is a week day, so people are at work school and maybe not able to get there till later on.

However we are looking at doing a little something in St james' park in the day time, maybe an Mj picnic and something a bit more chilled before we go to Wembley..

For people who would like to help us out, this is great and we are grateful for this. We shall be setting up a new pay pal for People who don't mind helping us out on the insurance side tonight.

Even though we get a lot of nasty comments...god knows why?!.. the support and nice comments are always greater ♥.
