For 2012 we would like to introduce a collaborative project to bring you some of the best musical talent in the form of DJ's and Live Acts. Not getting caught up with genres - we ask that guest acts build their sets to showcase their individual influences and talent.

Four Town Collective and Bixon after throwing parties in Edinburgh and London playing host to the likes of Robert James (Crosstown Rebels), Jordan Peak (Saved) and Josh T (Hot Waves) have teamed up to give you something new on your calendar.

Priding ourselves in creating intimate parties, we invite guests that span the spectrum of 4/4 music. February sees our launch in Edinburgh and London of what will hopefully become a monthly occurrence of affordable creative music events.

In London we return to take over the more intimate setting that is Juno and we have invited some of our closest friends and family to play.

A long standing resident at the legendary tpot day parties in Manchester, Calor's music is resonant with deep acid house grooves.

Starting out playing b2b with close friend Ruthit (Murmur, Be Chosen) in Manchester, Calor developed a love for underground house music. After honing his ears and building his music collection, he followed his passion to Ibiza to DJ and throw underground parties with Ruthit.

His career to date has seen him play alongside some of the biggest names in underground house music ,with gigs throughoutthe UK and the white isle.

Now every month at tpot, Calor's talents are combined with Ruthit and tpot's head honcho and close friend Adam Ross.

Anyone who has been to any of tpot's parties in Manchester will have witnessed these epic back to back to back sets that have set alight dancefloors, combining their individual sounds into a seamless journey of club focused underground house music.

Playing solo, Calor is given the freedom to construct unique mix of acid influenced dance floor house music with dynamic sets that resonate his signature sound.

With one release under his belt in collaboration with Mike Gill (Hot Waves) and a back catalogue of unreleased solo productions true to his acid roots, Calor is one to watch for 2012.

After four years residency at cult Newcastle night Jaunt>, which Richard also promotes alongside five other friends, it’s fair to say his teeth have been finely cut in the fast moving and competitive clubbing world of the North East. Now, having also launched Jaunt> in London with great success along with hosting Circo Loco and We Love parties in Newcastle, he continues to push forward in his rapidly advancing solo career.

Richard first became interested in the electronic scene in his teenage years, starting up Jaunt> after becoming disheartened with the lack of progressive and forward thinking nights in his area. With a musical taste ranging from the rolling sounds of deep house and techno to disco and straight up house, it’s fair to say his eclectic take on sound is apparent in his energetic and crowd pleasing sets. Ever since seeing the legendary Matthew Dear smash DC10’s dance floor back in 2007, Richard has been seeking out the more educated sounds of the underground scene and developing his own talents tenfold.

Through Jaunt> he has already held the DJ booth fort alongside the likes of Tobi Neumann, Prosumer, Steffi, Dyed Soundorom and Audiofly, adding ever more to his breadth of musical knowledge and untold passion for the DJ scene. And these stellar gigs have already led to separate bookings everywhere from the Zoo Project Ibiza to a sell out boat party in Croatia.

Now, with Jaunt> holding it's own as one of East London's strongest nights, as well as regular gigs across the UK, things are only looking brighter for the dynamic music lover. Unrivalled experience and success at such a young age can only be admired, and as Richard’s individual music career progresses it’s likely you’ll be hearing a lot more from himself and the now unstoppable Jaunt> movement.
