We at Folk & Dagger HQ have been high fiving ourselves all week about this line-up! Diverse, beautiful and stimulating...

For an avant pop duo who program sweet neat beats with a manga Deerhoof vocal on top of ideas rooted in the classical. For an incredibly smart and charismatic young lady with strange poetic and sometimes simple lyrics that colour in lines her band draw around her. And I'm so pleased to have Miss Garance Louis and her Mitochondries performing their little adventures for us- a Squeezebox weilding french madame with a gypsy/ swing sensibilty. Think Billie Holiday meets Tom Waits at Paris cafe....'dirty frenchi tango crazy'...
