City of LONDON End of Month Open - Friday February 24th

Friday February 24th 2012 - COLDA Open - The fourth of the 2012 season

... counting towards the 2012 City of London World Darts Championship Order of Merit. There will be a total of 18 opens this year.

****************** MAX 64 ENTRANTS - OPEN TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE *************************The O.O.M will make up the bulk of the players for the City of LONDON World Darts Championship in November. The COLWDC will consist of players made up of the OOM and other competitions that have been open to the Darts players of London. Last year's COLWDC, won by the PDC's Richie Howson, had a prize fund of £2,000 - we gave away over £3,000 in total last year over the finals and the opens....£5 entry to members, £7 to non members. Cash prizes will be paid to the winner, runners up and semi finalists - prize dependent on field. It will not be a life changing sum of money - we're COLDA, not the PDC. Part of the entry fees will be held back to put in the prize fund for the City of LONDON World Darts Championship. Membership can be purchased at www.cityoflondondarts.co.uk

Registration open now, closes 18:45 on the night. Play starts 19:00. You can pay in advance at the Porters Lodge (ask for Rob or Lesley) or via paypal if you transfer money to cityoflondondarts@gmail.com - PLEASE STATE YOUR NAME & WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR. You can also use the Paypal link at www.cityoflondondarts.co.uk - this is also where you'll find the results of the previous opens and all results moving forward. You can only book in advance if you pay in advance - simply giving your name won't reserve a place.Format is also dependent on the size of the field. 36 or less, it's a round robin. 37 to 64, as Stu Hall would say - It's a Knockout! The more the merrier! Until we get to 64 people. Then the 65th won't be merry at all. First come first served. THERE IS NO PARKING NEAR THE VENUE - PUB IS NEAR BANK, MONUMENT, CANNON STREET & LONDON BRIDGE.It's in a pub. Beer is pub prices. London Pub prices. COLDA can't do anything about this. We do not own the pub or the brewery. WE CAN'T & DON'T SET THE PRICES. If we could we'd give you all free beer. But we can't.
