This month T is the magic....letter it seems and we have a host of incredible acts To Totally Tantalise you, Tucker To Tickle your Taste buds and Turntable Tunes To Take you Through To Tomorrow!
A night of outstanding live acts at The Cellar and a selection of London's finest DJ's above at The Scene....Chelsea Rocks is putting Chelsea back on the map when it comes to showcasing the greatest up and coming music of our fair city.
Down in The Cellar
Tracy Mathewson
An accordion playing songstress who has been influenced by the likes of Keith Richards, Patti Smith and Chrissie Hynde. She likes to leave the description of her music up to those who hear it so join her at The Cellar and make up your own mind. All we're saying is from what we've hear I'm sure the reports will be glowing.
Tommy Hare
We are delighted to welcome the genuinely outstanding Tommy Hare to play The Cellar. Having showcased him at The Door in the City for our series of Blues nights we couldn't wait to invite Tommy to play in Chelsea as he is a truly unique and unforgettable talent and not to be missed. A regular feature of the UK rhythm n blues circuit for some time...having lent his skills to wide critical acclaim alongside many of the UK's foremost blues musicians, most recently with Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones,
Tommy’s gravelly vocals recall many of the greats of blue eyed soul and his enthusiasm for his craft is palpable in concert. Tom Bradley Band
Tom Bradley was born on the south coast of our beautiful little island in the late 80's, and that connection with the coast has continued with him, and is channelled through his music.
Having played around the UK and Europe with various bands in the past few years, Tom is now building a castle of his own, he says, "Finally i am wearing my heart on my sleeve and have a collection of songs and musicians who i am really proud of."
Tom's music is undoubtedly geared towards long lazy summer days on the beach with sand, surf and friends around you. The songs, such as 'September' and 'Best of Times', are straight from the west coast; laden with sky high harmonies and guitars perfect for driving with the top down.
Armed with either his trusty Gibson acoustic, or with his band of brothers in tow, the previous year has been a whirlwind of a year for Tom, taking him to Beach Break Live, Glastonbury Festival, Soho Studios with up-and-coming producer Guy Katsav(Laura Marling, Noah and the Whale, The View) and a repeated support slot with Finley Quaye (he says, "one of my all time idols") to name just a few.
We are excited to welcome Tom and his band to the warm bosom of The Cellar to fill us with the promise of sunny summer days to come.DJ's @ The Scene
