PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT

http://www.prostitutedisfigurement.com

Prostitute Disfigurement started out as a 3-piece near the end of 2000, under the name of Disfigure. They were joined by Roel van Kruysdijk on guitars, just before making their demo recordings. Following their second live show, the band was offered a record deal with Dutch-based Dismemberment Records, after which they released their debut album, Embalmed Madness, now under the name of Prostitute Disfigurement in 2001.

Both the debut album and the demo were recorded using a drum computer. Embalmed Madness was released during October 2001, in a limited quantity of 500 copies, which sold out in a few weeks. Quickly, 500 more were pressed and were again sold out quickly. The album got raving reviews in media such as Aardschok (Netherlands) and Legacy (Germany) and was re-released in 2004 through Unmatched Brutality Records?.

More gigs made a live drummer mandatory, so local guy Tim Bazen joined. After Tim was enlisted, the band started to work on their second album, entitled Deeds of Derangement. It was recorded in early February 2003 and was released on the German based Morbid records in August 2003.

Again great reviews were received, yet despite this, guitarist Niels van Wijk left the band, and Benny Bats was asked to take over his position. To support the album, lots of gigs were performed, including festival appearances on Obscene Extreme, the Morbid festival and the Rotterdam Deathfest. Sharing stages with well-known acts like Suffocation, Exhumed, Gorerotted, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide fed the band only more.

DESECRATION

Welsh death metal bastards Desecration have been causing mayhem and controversy with their brutal yet catchy sound since the mid-nineties. In 1995 copies of their ‘Gore and Perversion’ album were infamously seized and incinerated by the Gwent Constabulary for what they deemed to be its obscene nature. The ensuing court case and media furore firmly established the name Desecration in the South Wales scene and beyond. Not that this band were all media hype and no substance. No fuckin’ way!

Subsequent albums have seen the band consolidate their brutal sound. ‘Murder in Mind’, ‘Inhuman’, ‘Pathway to Deviance', ‘Gore & PerVersion 2’ (a re-recording of the original album)and Process of Decay (dealing with the complete decomposition of a corpse from the moment of the murder through to the burial) each have been more uncompromising than the last and earned Desecration an international fanbase and critical acclaim.Their countless live performances and touring alongside the likes of Vader, Cryptopsy, Extreme Noise Terror, Decapitated, Morbid Angel, Suffocation have also helped to solidify the live attack, meaning that the band have performed at nearly all of the major European extreme metal festivals over the past few years.

Recently Desecration have written and recorded their latest studio album 'Forensix' and are preparing the forthcoming tours and fesival appearances to support the new record. This new album sees the band step more into the realms of science with Ollie (vocals and guitar) using his many years of experience as a mortician as inspiration for the lyrical content for the album.

Cancerous Womb were formed in Edinburgh during the latter stages of 2008 by Guitarist Mike & Vocalist Chris. Since then we've been writing and 'perfecting' our current setlist whilst gigging/touring modestly and finalising our lineup. Recruiting Cook on Drums shortly after forming, and a few years later adding Ryan on Rhythm Guitar and Joe on Bass in Autumn 2011.

BASEMENT TORTURE KILLINGS

http://www.myspace.com/btkbasementtorturekillings

Basement Torture Killings were formed in the Winter of 2007 by past and present members of Thus Defiled, Reign Of Erebus, Fleshrot and Scarabaeus. Part band, part horror presentation, the members consist of unconvicted serial killers Bertrand, Tarquin, Professor Kennith and The Fourth Killer. The band’s music can best be described as old school death/gore grind with influences from luminaries such as Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Entombed, Deicide, Death etc… Added to this blend of classic death metal is a visual image which is part slasher flick, part The League Of Gentlemen.
