Williamson Tunnels is an underground labyrinth that has lain beneath the city since the early 1800’s. It is believed that Joseph Williamson a local philanthropists had his men build the tunnels - making use of the old quarries on the site, as a response to the poverty which surrounded his neighborhood. As Williamson or The Mole of Edge Hill as he is otherwise know, didn’t leave a legacy we can only speculate that this is why he built them.
The event will be a hands on experience, where YOU will be the investigator for the evening.
