Top Liverpool comics Pauline Daniels and Gary Skyner have teamed-up to present a "Laughter Factory for James" night in aid of the James Bulger Memorial Trust.

The cabaret and chinese dinner is the first fund-raiser of 2012 to be staged on behalf of the James Bulger Memorial Trust and among those attending will be James' mother Denise Fergus.

Gary and Pauline are joined by magician Paul Dabek and stage hypnotist Alan Bates in the line-up for the show at the Chung Ku Restaurant, in Riverside Drive, starting at 7.30pm on Thursday 1st March 2012.

Tickets - including a three-course dinner - are available at £25 each, or a table for 10 may be booked at £250.

The James Bulger Memorial Trust, established in 2011, provides holidays and respite breaks for deserving children and their families, at James Bulger House at a luxury leisure resort near Blackpool.

Denise Fergus said: "I'm very pleased that we are able to stage this event and I'm looking forward to a really enjoyable night.

"To have Pauline,Gary, Paul and Alan all together on the same bill, together with a top class chinese meal, promises to make it a wonderful event.

"February is always a difficult time for me because it marks the anniversary of James' death. That is a date that we will never forget and I will be remembering James privately, with my family.

"But it is also important to look forward to celebrating James' life. He was a boy who loved to laugh and enjoyed being with his family, so it will be good to get together and have an great evening in aid of the charity that bears his name."

Gary Skyner added: "We're thrilled and honoured to be working with Denise and raising funds for the James Bulger Memorial Trust.

"The Chung Ku is a superb venue and, at £25 each, these tickets are a real bargain.

"Numbers are limited and right now the bookings are open, but I would urge people to contact us as soon as possible to avoid missing-out."

Tickets for the "Laughter Factory for James" can be reserved by calling 0151 726 1932 or by emailing contact@garyskyner.co.uk
