THE CAVERN MECCA 'Doooo' 2012

In Summer, 1960, five young lads from Liverpool crossed the channel to Hamburg, Germany. They wore lilac jackets, made for them by a neighbour of Paul McCartney. They played all night, every night, and from raw amateurs they became a tight rock 'n roll outfit and came back as experienced leather-clad rockers!

And so, the Beatles story began in earnest. This year the Cavern Mecca 'Doooo' on 2nd November @ The Cavern Club (where else?) will be in aid of the Linda McCartney Cancer charity whose offical colour is Lilac. Like the young Beatles we want you to celebrate by wearing something Lilac. Something small or something large, it's up to you, but it's all for a good cause and most importantly, it's a bit o' fun!. It's not compulsory though, so don't worry. So let's go down the Cavern, raise the roof and raise funds at the second Cavern Mecca Charity 'Doooo'!
