This event is a call for all of those in the metal community to join together, drink, headbang, mosh and generally raise hell all in the name of tolerance!

Now is your chance to see the songs of thrash metal legends 'Megadeth' performed live by Megadead - a recently formed Megadeth tribute band.

Expect songs from their latest albums all the way back to their earlier works, including their seminal, multi-million selling album ' Rust in Peace' played from start to finish. Not something you'll want to miss!!!

Rozetta Stone - A 5 piece rock band from Liverpool who will transport you back to the 80's dynamic vein of music, whilst keeping their edge and attitude.

These guys will be closing the night, so you dfinitely won't want to leave early!

Arkaidence are a five piece Progressive Rock band from Liverpool. Already having many performances under their belt, Arkaidence continue to create high quality, interesting and melodic music featuring a broad spectrum of interests.

Their performance will definitely be something special for the prog in all of us!

THE JAMES WHITEHOUSE BAND

The James Whitehouse Band are a 4-piece Blues/Rock/Alternative outfit currently making waves in the Liverpool music scene. The Band plays an eclectic mix of Rock, Blues and Alternative music. If you enjoy the likes of Audioslave and The Foo Fighters then you'll love these guys! Terrific band!

SERPENTIA

Serpentia are a Liverpool-based, Heavy Metal band influenced by the likes of Metallica, Blackstone Cherry and Iron Maiden. With an array of good old fashioned metal at their disposal, this four-piece is ready to put on one hell of a show for you all!

DOORS 6:30The event will take place on July 17, at The Picket in Liverpool.

The Picket is located at 61 Jordan Street, L1 OBW

Due to the nature of the venue, the event is strictly 16+ I'm afraid.

You will need ID to purchase alcohol.

Tickets will cost £4 in advance and £5 on the door

If you would like a ticket, ideally contact one of the bands, however I will also be selling them in Liverpool on certain days and these days can be pre-arranged with me by contacting me at the following emails address:

All profits will be given to The Sophie Lancaster Foundation, there will also be donation boxes inside the venue

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation aims:

- To create a lasting legacy to Sophie.

- To provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.

- To campaign to have the UK Hate Crime legislation extended to include people from “alternative subcultures” or “Lifestyle and Dress”
