Oh and the good news is; If we raise between £100 - £750, Barclays Bank have agreed to match our donation POUND FOR POUND !!! I am holding a family fun day in my local Goals Soccer Centre. (Address Above)

I have arranged for a fun filled day on the 12th of August 2012, during the kids school holidays;

A BIT ABOUT CLATTERBRIDGE:

Clatterbridge, annually deliver 33,000 outpatient chemotherapy treatments and 2,000 inpatient chemotherapy episodes of care. In addition to the chemotherapy services available at Wirral based site, the Centre also delivers chemotherapy treatments at weekly clinics in seven locations across the region. These nurse-led clinics are held in district hospitals and again help bring our expertise and treatments ‘closer to patients’. Last year, their chemotherapy nursing team delivered just under 33,000 outpatient chemotherapy treatments. Of these 63% were delivered at off-site clinics - making this one of the most comprehensive network of chemotherapy clinics anywhere in the UK.

Clatterbridge delivers treatments to their patients through radiotherapy & chemotherapy services. They also have a sophisticated diagnostic imaging department & are currently, the only provider of proton therapy in the UK. With the support of the Teenage Cancer Trust they host the region’s Teenage and Young Adult Unit.

Their Liverpool cancer centre was opened in February 2011 & offers Northwest cancer patients, treatment options that were previously unavailable in the region.
