As most of you know, in August this year I'm hoping to travel to China with Childreach International www.childreach.org.uk to trek The Great Wall. And as most of you will also know, I find it very hard to shut my mouth.

SO...

What better way to raise money than for you to all be free of my gabbing for a whole 12 hours?! I'm doing a sponsored silence Thursday 1st March 2012 to help me reach my target of £3000! To ensure I keep quiet I will be wearing a dummy in my mouth all day. I may even dress up as a baby and post you all some rather interesting pictures if I get enough of you to sponsor me!

Since their set up in 2004, they have given 40,694 children access to education! They work in Tanzania, India, Cambodia, Nepal and Bangladesh to help improve the quality of life for thousands of children. Together, you and I can make that number even higher!

On the day, I will be walking around university (with my dummy) with a bucket. I will also be carrying a sponsorship form pestering people until the event :) Alternatively, if I can't see you and you're back at home in Slough, fear not!
