THE FINE ART AUCTION 2012 STARTS HERE.. :) It will include a viewing of the work between 5.30pm and 7pm, followed by the auction from between 7pm and 9pm. There will be a wide range of works on auction by artists, which will include prints, paintings, drawings, photography and sculpture. Refreshments will be provided during the evening.
The aim of the Art Auction is to raise money for the Fine Art Degree Show Catalogue, which is completely funded by the final year students and the generosity of people who attend such events. It is a fantastic opportunity to purchase some original artwork at the fraction of what it would normally cost. So don’t miss out on this momentous chance to really help out and have it known. The auction is also a chance for different departments within the faculty to come together and to interact with businesses.
