Matt Andersen is (in my humble opinion) the best blues guitarist and possibly the best blues vocalist on the planet. He will this year, be returning to Leicester for his annual trip to The Musician and this campaign is to make you all aware of the level of awesome that will be present in the city on March 13th 2012. And on top of this, tickets are only 7 pounds, 7 pounds for one of the most breathtaking live acts you'll ever see, all the way from Canada.

We at Off-Beat do not know Matt, I have spoke to him once before a gig, this is not an endorsed campaign, nor are we doing 'a favour for a friend' This is literally for you, to make you aware of the opportunity that has been made available to you. I have been to see Matt when he's come to Leicester the last two years and they were two of the best gigs I've seen (we made him runner up in our best live gig of 2010 behind only Opeth's Bloodstock performance.) Not only that but there were far less people present than should have been, for a man of this calibre to travel to this city that so many mainstream acts miss out of their annual tours, for us not to be showing our appreciation by going to what I guarantee you will be a truly remarkable show. I shall post videos on the wall of your events, listen to them, share them, link your friends to this event.

We do not speak out like this often, but for a man of this talent, with a reputation far smaller than he deserves, we decided to make an exception.
