Join Riff Raff and Total Recall to celebrate 30 years of electronic dance music!

Friday 30/3/2012 @ Beaverworks, Leeds.Riff Raff & Total Recall get together to present a night to celebrate 30 years of quality underground electronic dance music. The legendary Riff Raff will be taking over the basement with their signature hard-edged influenced Acid Techno, NRG & Psy-trance!

It played a defining role in the development of contemporary electronic music - the TB-303 is THE sound of acid house and techno!

The TB-303 (short for "Transistorized Bass") was originally marketed to guitarists for bass accompaniment for solo practising sessions. Production lasted approximately 18 months, resulting in only 10,000 completed units. It was not until the mid-to-late 1980s that DJs and electronic musicians in Chicago found an alternative use for the machine in the context of the newly developing house music genre.

Since then, the TB-303 has been present in every form of dance music - we are very proud to be able to bring you a night that will showcase the scale of this humble instrument's titanic influence across our culture!
