Eric Pickles is meeting with Tory Councillors from across the country for their annual Local Government Conference and they've decided to hold it in Leeds. As they meet to discuss the best ways to make cuts and take on trade unions, local government workers, service-users and trade unionsts and activists from across the region will be converging on their conference.

We'll be meeting at Woodhouse Moor, where we hope to have parking available (tbc), hold a rally there and then march through the city to get to City Square (just outside the Queens Hotel where the conference is being held) just as Pickle's addresses the conference.

There will then be an anti-cuts counter-conference with meetings, workshops, food and stalls. So if you're coming from outside town then please don't arrange to leave too early!
