Janice Graham Band could start a party in an empty room. Described as the best thing to come out of Manchester in years the band release their highly anticipated debut mini CONCEPT album ‘It’s Not Me’ on Feb 27, 2012.

Featuring the swinging beats of live favourite and current single NO MONEY HONEY, alongside the band’s successful debut single MURDER (play-listed on XFM, Q and NME this year), JGB fuse hip-hop, soul and reggae beats with the aggressive tones of lead singer and bass player Joe Jones’ signature vocals, to create a mini-album to sate the hunger of their eager and always growing fan base and fulfil the buzz that has built around the band over the past year.

The mini album is not the band’s first “proper” album, it’s a concept album, a soundtrack to a film screening in the mind of the listener and in the grooves of the record. The album deals with questions and answers on love, life, sex and death. It concerns itself with the harsh brutality of life seen through the eyes of a man whose hedonistic incline leads him down a dark and twisted path of increasingly questionable morality and self –destruction

With a handful of high profile supporters, ranging from Mani (Primal Scream/Stone Roses) who’s backed the band from the start, to XFM’s Clint Boon and John Kennedy, JGB possess that certain something most bands can only wish for; the band’s passion, attitude and musical insight beyond their years is portrayed even more intensely in their energetic live sets.

With a brilliant year of high profile gigs under their belt such as Isle Of Wight Festival and having sold out the Ruby Lounge in Manchester for their single launch, the band have now been hand-picked by HMV for their Next Big Thing tour in February 2012.Tickets available now from the following links below.......
