Bestival 2012

Basically, we had an unbelievable time at Bestival this year. Here are 10 reasons why its much better than Reading:

1. With half as many people there, and not all of them intent on getting chlamydia and burning things (sorry Matt), its got a fantastic vibe.
2. You can wear a nun outfit and a mankini and, rather than people judge you, they will tell you your a pussy for wearing something over the top.
3. Its in a glade. An actual valley glade.
4. The arena is twice the size of Readings, with actual stuff to do if you don't like whats on the main stage.
5. The music is obscene, theres something for everyone, be it reedy folk or your d'tiest dubstep.
6. If you have or like ket, you are going to make a lot of money/have a great time.
7. It has portaloos not a poo trough.
8. You can take your own alcohol into the arena, and nobody cares about camping stoves or anything either.
9. Its on the isle of wight, which is lovely.
10. Did i mention its the BEST-FESTIVAL?

For all these reasons and more, I think we should do what we did last year and all book earlybirds to go to a festival. Only this time, lets go Bestival! That way, whatever holidays we want to go on or who we want to go with, we all get to meet up at some point.

It says on the back of our programme that earlybirds come out on bestival.net at 9am on the 23RD OF SEPTEMBER (THIS FRIDAY).

Dont worry about what ferry time you get or whatever, they are very relaxed. However, it would be better to all go from one port, and in our experience Portsmouth is miles better. If everyone else objects though im happy to go from Southampton
