The most intense of the summer dance intensives is back! It's time for Boogiezone University 4!.
Boogiezone University 4 presented by Focus Dance Center and produced by Boogiezone -- is a 3 day technical dance intensive featuring classes taught by the dance community and industry's most sought after choreographers who specialize in a variety of dance styles like Hip Hop, Contemporary, and various foundation based styles. BZU 4 promises to offer something special for every dancer whether you are a beginner, an aspiring professional, or just a fan! It's here for everyone!
Instructed by approximately 55 different Community choreographers and Industry giants, you can choose to take classes that range in style from Hip Hop (Commercial, Specialty, & Foundation Based styles like Lockin', Breakin', Poppin', House, Robot) to Contemporary, and Jazz Funk. You can enjoy learning to dance in a non-competitive dance environment, with knowledgeable and charismatic instructors who want to give you an experience that is completely unique and brand new! How does pricing work?
A Breakdown of costs...
There are four different dance class tracks you can register for. You can enroll in 3 regular classes each day for all 3 days, for a total of (9) classes per dance track. Unlike the past two years, Boogiezone 3 is now OPEN LEVEL, similar to our weekly community classes, each class is structured to be taught as an Intermediate/Advanced level, but is open to anyone with the determination to learn -- you can be an aspiring beginner or a professional. It doesn't matter! Now, you can choose which track of classes to take based on which style or teacher you want to take from. There are (2) Hip Hop tracks and (2) Contemporary ones. This is considered our Regular Class Package. The cost of just these 9 Classes is $150.
Each day, after a short dinner break, we resume with our Specialty Classes: Foundation based Styles like Lockin', Robot, Poppin', How to Freestyle + more! The cost of ADDING these 6 classes to your regular class package will be an additional $50. So for a total of 15 classes the cost of BZU 3 is $200. Note: If you do not want to register for regular classes, but want to enroll in the Specialty ones only, you can for a cost of $75. You will eventually have to choose which 6 of the 12 Specialty classes offered you want to take.

This is the coolest thing you could ever take advantage of! Can't decide on which class to take because they are all so good? Purchase the All Access "flex" pass which allows you to take any class of any style, level, and from any teacher you wish! All you do is add an additional $50 for a total of $250! About Hip Hop at BZU 4
The Commercial Hip Hop Classes at BZU 4 offer students the best training around. The collective experience that this amazing faculty of Instructors shares is overwhelming. Their credits include choreography for the most prestigious competitive dance crews like Choreo Cookies and GRV, to faculty at some of Los Angeles’ top dance studios like Debbie Reynold’s and The Millennium Dance Complex to being backup dancers or choreographers to celebrity music artists like Michael Jackson, Britney Spears or Janet Jackson. Although these classes are geared towards Int/Adv level students, they are open to anyone willing to give having a serious challenge a try! If you love the regular weekly Boogiezone Community Classes, you will love the vibe at BZU 4!

About Specialty Classes at BZU 4
The Specialty Classes at BZU 4 are offered to help expand your knowledge and technique of urban street dance and beyond! These classes range from learning fundamental steps in street dance like Lockin', Poppin, and Breakin' to other distinct dance styles that have emerged from various cultural or social movements like Krumpin' or Isolation. We even offer a technique based classes like "How to Freestyle!" The Specialty Class "Add On" is an awesome way to round out your BZU 4 experience! Although each class is geared towards the Int/Adv student, these classes are open to anyone willing to give it a try. No previous experience necessary! You can add these (6) Classes to your regular dance track schedule or you can purchase these evening classes separately.

About Contemporary Class at BZU 4
The Contemporary Classes at BZU 4 offers students an opportunity to experience a style that has evolved as a fusion of several movement’s; genres which include elements of concert dance, systems and methods found in modern dance and postmodern dance, classical ballet, and even Hip Hop. BZU 4 gives you a nice range of technical styles to train in, we also are offering a few classes in Jazz funk! Instructed by the Community and Industry’s best teachers, the Contemporary Class Dance Track will be sure to get your spirit moving! Although these classes are geared towards Int/Adv level students, they are open to anyone willing to give having a serious challenge a try! If you love the regular weekly Boogiezone Community Classes, you will love the vibe at BZU 4!
