A soliloquy is an utterance or discourse by a person who is talking to himself or herself being disregardful of or oblivious to any hearers present. It is often used as a literary or linguistic device to disclose a character's innermost thoughts.

Each contestant participating in this event named SOLILOQUY picks up one topic from a list of 10 topics 5 minutes before his/her soliloquy is to be delivered. While delivering the 'soliloquy', the contestants SHOULD NOT ADDRESS the audience.

The performance of each contestant is evaluated by a panel of judges on the parameters announced a few minutes before the event starts.

The three best soliloquists shall receive prizes.
