Holly Denslow: Originally a Northern resident of the USA within the Great Lake State, has also lived in Japan, the Rocky Mountains and presently resides in Texas. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University where she studied sculpture under the guidance of J. Bourne. Holly is also a graduate of Ferris State University where she studied painting under J. Lyons. She has also worked closely here in Texas with master sculptors D. Adickes and J. Reno while establishing her ever expanding body of diverse work. Artistic talents are a genetic trait in the Denslow family which includes William Wallace Denslow (1856-1915) best known for his children’s books and illustrations of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in 1900 where he brought to life the beloved characters of the highly celebrated American fairy tale. Like W.W. Denslow, Holly hopes to leave a lasting legacy of art to inspire generations. Owner and operator of Sculptures By Design Studio, she is currently in her 10th year of business in 2010. Most recent accomplishments: 2000 sq ft mural for the Champion Wine Committee of the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo, and Memorial Monument located within the Austin State Cemetery for the Daughters of the American Revolution. Sculptures By Design Studios opened in Houston, Texas in 2000 specializing in metal, stone and bronze sculpture as well as oil paintings, assorted mixed media, monuments and custom works. The Studio features professional showcasing for local, national and international artists. The group also organizes community based art events, art outreach and instruction.

In 2009, a second Sculptures By Design Studio initiated the community art outreach for CityCentre Houston which included mixed media art placement throughout the CityCentre facility and professional showcasing from the Studio located on the second floor next to Eddie V.s In March 2012, this location of the Sculptures By Design Studio will be closed and services will be provided through the Greenway Plaza headquarters.

The Greenway Plaza Sculptures By Design Studio headquarters was opened in 2004 and is located on the entry level of 24 Greenway Plaza Suite 200, between Edwards Cinema and Mercedes Benz of Greenway. This location, near the art district of Houston, provides central distribution for clients in Rice Village, the Galleria area, Upper Kirby District, Downtown and the Medical Center. The Studio also books commercial mixed media placement for business clients such as the CityCentre from the headquarters.
