A space unconference is where participants decide the topics of the event. Everyone who attends SpaceUp is encouraged to give a talk, moderate a panel, or start a discussion. Sessions are proposed and scheduled on the day they’re given, which means the usual “hallway conversations” turn into full-fledged topics. The event will feature 8 discussion sessions held over 2 days in which 4 rooms are active for each session - that's 32 space related discussions that you can't get enough of.

We will have the return of Space Show & Tell on Saturday and plan to feature Innovations from JSC and the community. Sunday morning we will start with the T Minus 5 Talks (Ignite Style) that we have come to love. SpaceUp Houston is here to provide you a platform to learn about taking your ideas to the next level, so come and interact with people who have done just that. This year we have added a VIP Reception on Saturday for the first 40 people who register. Saturday Evening will also feature as astronaut presentation and an Explore the Solar System Panel focusing on manned/unmanned exploration.

Ticket Types:

- Adult Attendee - Register for two days of SpaceUp, which includes meals, snacks, drinks, a t-shirt, lanyard, and a few surprise goodies.

- Volunteer - Adults, High School & College Students who are willing to help out for a full day can attend the Unconference for FREE. (CONTACT US FOR REGISTRATION)

- Student Attendee - Bring your student (aged 8 -18) with you to SpaceUp! We'll have a few special activities for kids and kids-at-heart. (Childcare won't be provided, so plan accordingly.)

- VIP Reception Sat Evening - Join us from 4-6 pm for heavy appetizers and interact with our VIP Speakers Dayna Steele and Charles Justiz. There are only 40 spots so register early. T-shirt not included.

- Saturday Night Only - Saturday night (7 to 10 pm) will feature an astronaut presentation and an Explore the Solar System panel. If you can only attend that night or want to bring a guest, choose this option. T-shirt not included.

- Online Attendee - Watching our online stream, but want the t-shirt and goodies? Choose this option. (Note: The package will be mailed to you after the event.)

You will be amazed at what comes out of SpaceUp. Based on past SpaceUps, we expect to see businesses started, problems solved, projects kicked off, plans hatched, and amazing friendships born.
