We will hold the next informational meeting about the Houston Museum of Culture on Monday, February 27 at 6pm, at the McGovern-Stella Link Neighborhood Library, 7405 Stella Link, Houston, Texas 77025.

There are many recent developments to learn about. We have to act very quickly on them. More will be covered at the meeting.

The meeting will cover several topics, including:

-What is the Houston Museum of Culture?

-What will it do for the people of greater Houston?

-Who is involved?

-What is the community outreach plan?

-How is it funded?

-What is the strategy to accomplish the goals?

And, we will be interested in your advice about all of these things, and about our immediate steps to expand our outreach.

At the meeting, you will learn that there is a role for anyone who is interested to help. Though it is a great challenge, the Houston Museum of Culture has the greatest potential in Houston to make a difference in our city. Being informed, having a voice in the process, having enthusiasm and helping spread the word are the all necessary for you to help us meet this challenge. As you learn more, you will be surprised by the magnitude of what we are doing.
