Downtown Houston Pachyderm club is proud to present a Sheriff forum at our weekly meeting. After numerous requests by members, we are going to try something new. We are going to have a straw poll, consisting of paid members in attendance. The Sheriffs race is packed with eight admirable men. Our straw poll is not meant to be taken as an endorsement by the club. The Pachyderms do not endorse in a contested primary and we stand by that policy steadfastly. It's only a "snapshot" in time of what some of our members think. Please join us. If you haven't paid your dues yet this year, we will have people there at 11:15 to sign you up. Last week we had ninety-eight in attendance; can we beat it this week? Our meetings are held every Thursday from noon to 1PM. Pay downstairs and join us upstairs in the back.
