Houston, TX – Coffee beans have rolled into Houston with an overwhelming aroma of PR. It’s PR Over Coffee and it’s a conversation over a cup of coffee that has gotten hundreds of small businesses media exposure increasing their business like never before.

Started in Austin in 2010, by PR expert Dave Manzer, PR Over Coffee connected top media journalists to entrepreneurs who were desperate for more attention for their business. PR over Coffee started as a PR empowerment movement. The origin of the name PR over Coffee came about thanks in part to the location of the first meetings, which were held at many of Austin’s trendy coffee houses. Late in 2010, however, PR over Coffee took on a more formal existence with meetings and speakers from the ranks of media, PR and small businesses.

PR over Coffee is now a place for small businesses to connect with media professionals like journalists, editors and news producers in search of compelling “local” news. Communities are now all over the United States providing businesses practical ways to practice “Do-it-Yourself” PR in their own markets. We believe small businesses and non-profits should be able to quickly learn the most effective practices and professional secrets to getting more media exposure and brand awareness.

The PR over Coffee Teams are independent business people, just like you! We bring years of experience full of proven, real-world examples to help get you the exposure you are seeking. We’re on a mission to share strategies, tricks and tips that have worked for our customers hundreds of times in the past. Consultants from Boom Media and Image Consulting of Houston leads the PR Over Coffee community in Houston bringing in top journalists they are connected to.
