MEMO: You are invited to a board meeting of the corporate executives of the firm of Talarski, Dankosky, McEnroe & Wolf. Please arrive promptly. Professional dress only. There will be NO donuts, although there will be black coffee. Whiskey if you’re lucky. Bottom line: profits are down. Corporate downsizing is in order. No one is safe.

It’s time again to gather ‘round the watercooler, in this case a large old-fashioned radio, and gossip about David in accounting. (Have you seen his new haircut?!)

Don’t know what to expect?! Think: old-fashion variety show meets This American Life; Listening session meets jam session. We’ll hear stories about being “On the Job.” But it’s not all board meetings and bowties. For some people, the mountains are their monitors; the classroom is their cubicle; the trapeze is their tape dispenser.
