Ray White is a soul vocalist and rock and blues guitarist, best known as a member of Frank Zappa's touring ensembles.[1] He was drafted into Zappa's band in the fall of 1976, being featured on rhythm guitar and vocals, forming a memorable vocal harmony partnership with Ike Willis on later tours in 1980 and 1984. White's vocals can be heard on Zappa in New York (March 1978), You Are What You Is (Sept 1981) as well as others. White can also be found on a The Torture Never Stops and Does Humor Belong in Music?; the former a DVD set in one of Zappa's last tours (without Ike Willis) and the latter being a VHS filmed at the pier in New York, the video features White and Ike Willis' signature vocal harmonies. According to Zappa, White, who was deeply religious, was uncomfortable with the atheistic views of some of the other band members, which led to his departure.
White has also worked with jam-oriented groups like KVHW, Don't Push the Clown and Umphrey's McGee since his contributions to the Zappa band, and has more recently worked with a variety of Michigan artists, including former Rare Earth drummer Bob Weaver, as well as members of the funk/fusion combo Generic Produce.
In summer 2007 Ray White joined Dweezil Zappa as a special guest for the Zappa Plays Zappa Tour.
IKE will Sitting in With Art of ILL Fusion as they do special Zappa Cuts for one of the nights ) (Frank Zappa &Project object) It was while in college at Washington University, St. Louis that Ike Willis and Frank Zappa met.As a guitar player since the age of 8, Ike was studying political science. He volunteered to help with the concert committee just so he could get a "Back Stage Pass" to meet Frank Zappa. The rest as they say, is history. As the one of longest playing members of Frank Zappa's bands, Ike is still upholding his promise to Frank.That promise is to continue on, playing the music of Zappa.To this day Ike fulfills Frank's wish by playing with some awesome Zappa tribute bands from around the world.

For the past four decades Regi Wooten has been playing guitar in every style of music all over the world, from small dives all the way up to major festivals. Many consider Regi to be the greatest funk guitarist in the world, and when you see his oddly amazing brand of sweep picking, slapping/thumping, two-handed tapping and strumming, there's no doubt the man is funky. In a good way, of course.
Regi Wooten began his teaching and performing career by instructing his four younger brothers on their instruments and then using those talents to form a band of super musicians. The Wooten Brothers are a staple of the Nashville music scene and include Joseph Wooten (of The Steve Miller Band) on keys and Victor Wooten and Futureman (of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones) on bass and drums alongside Nashville's best session and road musicians.

The name might not strike an immediate chord but Willie Waldman is one you'll find in the liner notes of great artists and groups such as Banyan, Rob Wasserman, Perry Farrell and the late Tupac Shakur. While the list goes on, there's much more to this trumpet players credit than simply recording as a sideman on many of today's contemporary artists albums.Willie Waldman was born July 5th, in Santa Ana, California, summer of 1965. Since Willie was three years old he's been infatuated with music, specifically one instrument, namely, the trumpet. For years he begged his mother for the prize until she finally purchased his first trumpet at the age of seven, with the exception that he would learn to play. Now living in Westville, In. (Just East of Chicago) Saturday mornings brought those lessons with Mr. Claude, Willies first music instructor. Soon thereafter Willie found himself in school and in his first large ensemble situation with the Chesterton High School Marching Band in Chesterton Indiana. The band had won many state and national marching band competitions that led to Willies eventual scholarship with Memphis State University. This is where Willie feels he received his first real training.Beale Street is where the action is in Memphis, and Willies calling beckoned him to find work playing on the famous strip. He met living legends Herman Green, Calvin Newborn and Jimmie Ellis (Willies first actual paid gig) at Club Handy. Willie recalls, "I would go there and sit in and they would have me playing John Coltrane songs. I was so horrible and lost. I remember Herman saying, If you want to keep coming and stinking up my stage you'd better take some lessons! So I started taking lessons from Herman and slowly honed my skills."Now a member of Herman Green & the Green Machine (The Memphis Giant that produced such greats as James Williams, Mulgrew Miller, Kirk Whalum and others) Willie was playing five plus nights a week. As Willie and Herman became better friends they decided to try playing their music with a different approach in hopes of reaching a younger audience. Something with more of a rock/fusion flavor. Their conception and direction led to the 1987 formation of Freeworld. Freeworld became an educational breeding ground for many of Willies life long friends and fellow musicians and the group toured with huge name acts like Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Robert Cray Band, Albert King and Joe Cocker. http://williewaldman.com/index.html

2010's Music and Art Fair featured more than 20 bands over 2 days, including several nationally-touring artists. Numerous vendors and non-profits were also available including glassblowers, pottery demonstrations and several clothing vendors.

This will be the 3rd Year Of The Festival , and we hope it to be the best one yet. We have had a vision of a grass roots Festival that could be thrown with all of our close friends and families who are also active in the artist community. We also have a vision for a clean vibes fest that is safe to bring the whole family out to. We have made it very affordable and plan to always do that as this year's fest has a increase of ticket prices of just 5 dollars for VIP and G.A. Camping passes. It takes place on a beautiful rural setting at the Putnam Conservation area complete with Wooded Campgrounds and wildlife all around . We have managed to keep the grounds clean every year as well as this is a " Leave No Trace" event We also Donate a portion of the proceeds to the school systems Music and Art Programs and Have a Art auction to raise money for them as well. Lastly this festival Rages, and you should at least give it a try one time!!!!!!!!!!!
