MakethisRelate: http://makethisrelate.com

MakethisRelate is a three piece alternative rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Brought together in 2008, the band steadily began to develop their sound: a captivating mix of stadium sized pop melodies with the energy and aggression of alternative rock, delivered through a decidedly honest Scottish vocal. Their influences include American emo luminaries, Jimmy Eat World and local rock heavyweights, Biffy Clyro.

Following some great support slots with The Damned Things, Rolo Tomassi and Elliot Minor, the band's local profile began to rise and soon enough MakethisRelate had gathered a following of dedicated fans in their hometown, who played a vital role in propelling the band towards bigger stages - including a slot at a sold-out show in the legendary King Tut's Wah Wah Hut. In 2011, MakethisRelate toured relentlessly and during the summer of the same year, the band was selected by a panel of industry judges to play a number of major UK festivals including Download, Sonisphere and T in the Park.

The band are currently working on new material which they plan to debut at this show (their first headline show in six months).

"...lilting post-punk...with a warmth evocative of Jimmy Eat World by way of Idlewild." - Kerrang! (KKKK)

Campfires in Winter:http://campfiresinwinter.com

Campfires In Winter a four-piece band from Croy, near Glasgow. Coming together in 2009, Campfires In Winter sculpt a sound influenced as much by post rock as it is by guitar pop music, creating something searing and expansive yet always melodic. Having played alongside the likes of RM Hubbert, Kid Canaveral, St Deluxe and Mitchell Museum, Campfires In Winter are an accomplished and polished live band. Their debut EP 'Cardboard Ships' was released on Glasgow record label 'Stand & Wave' in 2010. In autumn 2012, Campfires In Winter will release their debut album on the same label.

'...a band who are doing something very very right.' Jim Connick, Ayetunes

'...the songs carry a real sincerity, passion and weight of emotion...' Christopher Nosnibor, Whisperin' & Hollerin'

'...gave me a thrill at first listen.' Love Shack, Baby

Vasa: http://soundcloud.com/vasaband

'Probably the most exciting new Glasgow band we’ve come across recently' - Glasgow PodcArt

Vasa play melodic, sometimes heavy post-rock. Despite being a relatively new band they have received a great response, but don't take anyone else's word for it and check out their soundcloud page (via the link above) where you will hear a couple of demos.
