Events for Charities are pleased to announce their first Annual Festival in Aid of Yorkhill Childrens Foundation. EFC Festival will take place in Glasgow’s Merchant City area over the bank holiday weekend of the 5th & 6th May 2012.

We have over 61 bands & artists giving up their time to play at the event in 6venues in the Merchant City. More details of the bands playing are on the Official Poster / E Flyer.

The we would also like to thank the venues for allowing us to host the event , taking place are Maggie May, The Clutha, Blackfriars, The 13th Note and The Victoria Bar.

Also to our hosts that are confirmed Jim Gellatly (In:Demand Uncut), Fraser Thomson (Real Radio),Tom Russell ( Real XS ), Father Ted ( @thetedrock ) Mary K Burke (Celtic Music Radio ). Cheryl Scott (KA Radio) & Crawford Smith (Southside Sessions ) for supporting our event over the weekend.

A massive thank you goes to everyone out there that is supporting the event through promotion, attendance and for donating to Yorkhill Childrens Foundation through Just Giving, donation buckets or purchasing tickets to attend the event.

Tickets for the event for Maggie May, Blackfriars & The 13th Note will go on sale from Ticket Scotland in December. The Clutha & The Victoria Bar are both Free entry with donation buckets placed around the venues for donations.

We hope that there is something there for everyone and you all have a fun weekend.

Tickets available for the Events for Charities comedy events at Committee Room 9, John Street,Merchant City,Glasgow on Saturday 5th May,8pm til 11pm and Sunday 6th May, 7pm til 10pm. Featuring Rod Hunter,John Purves and Les Sinclair (Old Men) and loads of young dudes and dudettes. Tickets only a fiver and some transport may be available from the East. All proceeds to Yorkhill Childrens Hospital,so come along, support this great cause and have a giggle.
