http://www.wegottickets.com/event/152316H'aawrite 2k12?!?! We're back, and we're very pleased to announce that the first AQNI show of 2012 is taking place at Stereo, Glasgow (again, cause it's reet guid) with the amazing, amazing, amazing FINDING ALBERT.
If you aren't aware of this band already, here's a short list of their achievements to give you an idea on who they are and what they're all aboot n that:
Support for Biffy Clyro in L.A. and Newton Faulkner on his UK tour.
Performed at South By South West Festival, Texas.
Worked with respected producers including Mark Needham (The Killers, Bloc Party, Fleetwood Mac), Greg Wells (Mika, Keane) and David Kosten (Chris Martin, Bat For Lashes).
Signed to Peer Publishing in the US.
Made the MusicWeek Playlist alongside Calvin Harris and Cold War Kids.
Use of tracks currently used in Sky Sports Premiership and Champions League coverage.
The four-piece band play with a string quartet live, creating a fantastic ‘wall of sound’, with a huge dynamic range that really reaches out to audiences.
The band have played some fantastic venues including:
Various festivals, including SxSW, Eden, and YouthBeatz 2010, where the band performed to a standing 9,000+ crowd.
Various venues across the UK and US, including the Tyne Theatre, Hollywood Boulevard, ABC1 (Glasgow), King Tuts Wah Wah Hut, the Paul McCartney Auditorium (Liverpool), the legendary Troubador (L.A), Ginglik (London) etc.
