Band of the Broken Grid

Literary Manhattan is now welcoming letters of introduction from all artists, writers, and students wishing to meet weekly on Sundays for six weeks for lively, collaborative sessions that will lead to the creation of three to five publishable pieces of work.

Workshop attendees will be published and promoted on Literary Manhattan's website, and one writer will be chosen by a committee of judges and announced at the annual holiday party in December for a cash prize award.

Please send a letter of introduction along with an explanation of why you find New York City inspiring and three writing samples in the body of an email to kylie@literarymanhattan.org by August 20, 2012. You may also include links to any blogs or websites where your work is published.
