We're in the early stages of setting up all the activities for the annual fundraiser. Each year Comic Fusion raises thousands of dollars for SAFE in Hunterdon through the comic art auction, raffles, and other donations. PLEASE OPEN THE "SEE MORE" LINK FOR FULL DETAILS.
We're doing our COSPLAY casting so if you have a version of a character that you want to claim, speak up with your RSVP and let me know which character & version (original is fine too) you are interested in being.
The Star Wars 501st is confirmed. The East Coast Avengers have been invited. League of Lanterns invited.
BATMOBILES! Yes, we will have at least 3 bat vehicles in front of the store. The only make & model confirmed right now is the 1966 car built by John Brown from NJ. He's going to coordinate with his customers to see which others we can get. The Keaton '89 is a possibility. People will be allowed to take photos in John's car for a small additional donation to SAFE in Hunterdon. The batmobiles are dependent on the weather -- they can't come out in the rain/snow.
We're having a Design a Superhero Contest with the 4th Graders. Stacy & the Board at SAFE in Hunterdon are going to work out a judges panel & prizes.

NEW POLICIES:
1. Please keep all behavior that polite fans and citizens would find offensive in public away from the general public areas such as in the store or in front, especially when children are present.
2. We'll offer sympathy, but COMIC FUSION is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property, or for injuries sustained during the course of any events.
3. Announced events and guests are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. Every effort will be made to announce any changes via the Internet and pre-event publications and our onsite newsletter, but sometimes last-minute changes will occur.
4. We reserve the right to ask you to leave the shop and its events area if you are not behaving respectfully.
5. No smoking in the store or by the front door.
6. Please abide by our weapons policy: All weapons must be non-working and peace bonded. No functioning projectile weapons includes water pistols, silly-string guns, and ping-pong pistols. Prop weapons should be composed of cardboard, foam, wood or other light materials. No clowning around or showing off. Any weapon or prop used in an offensive manner will be confiscated and rule #4 enforced. We expect you to use good judgment. Any stage combat demonstrations must be approved by the store owners first. We do not post bail.
7. Costumes need to be appropriately “family friendly” - when in doubt ask before you even pack for the event. (908)788-0599 or info@comicfusion.com or amberlovescomics@gmail.com. No horror characters unless there is a specified horror theme. No Slave Leia, bikini Emma Frost or other gratuitously revealing costume. No TDK Joker unless you can agree to not act “in character”.
8. By attending you acknowledge that photos of you may be taken and used by the store, the event organizers, the media, and the general public.
9. We try to avoid duplicate characters (unless it’s a theme) or at least duplicates of the same version of a character. Please try your best to join in the roll calls on Facebook to claim your character of choice.
Weapons policy:
* Prop weapons will be allowed providing they are composed of cardboard, foam, wood or other light materials.
* Prop firearms are allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons. The barrel of all prop firearms must be covered with brightly-colored caps. Prop bows will be allowed providing all arrows have soft tips.
* Whips can be tied, holstered, & used for photos; no cracking.
Basically, don’t be an idiot.
